Barcelona:
We recommend at least 2 nights, but if you have the time, 3 would be better!
Must See’s:
1. Visit La Sagrada Familia and Hospital de Sant Pau (just five minutes` walk from each other)
2. Wander Down Las Ramblas (Barcelona`s most famous street with street performers, interesting architecture, and vibrant atmosphere)
3. Walk Around the Gothic Quarter (Barcelona`s most famous district with Its narrow streets)
4. Visit the Picasso Museum (Converted palace on a delightful medieval backstreet.
5. The museum contains an extensive collection of early sketches and later cubist paintings)
6. Take a day Trip to Montserrat (A stunning jagged mountain about half an hour outside of Barcelona. There is a famous monastery here and some great hiking trails)
Barcelona – Valencia (365 kms / 3 hours and 30 minutes):

1. Alhambra – One of the more splendid sights of Europe, a network of lavishly decorated palaces and irrigated gardens, a World Heritage Site and the subject of scores of legends and fantasies.
2. Palacio Nazaríes – Alhambra’s true gem, the most brilliant Islamic building in Europe, with perfectly proportioned rooms and courtyards, intricately molded stucco walls, beautiful tiling, fine carved wooden ceilings all worked in mesmerizing,
symbolic, geometrical patterns.
3.Palacio de los Leones – One of the most stunning structures within the Alhambra, and according to some, the royal harem. The rooms of the palace surround a marble fountain that channeled water through the mouths of 12 carved marble lions.
4. Plaza del Salvador – Near the top of the Albayzín, is dominated by the Colegiata del Salvador, a 16th-century church on the site of the Albayzín’s main mosque; the mosque’s horseshoe-arched patio, cool and peaceful, survives at its western end.
5. Cathedral – A cavernous Gothic and Renaissance building. Construction began in 1521 and lasted until the 18th century.
Monasterio de la Cartuja – Built between the 16th and 18th centuries by the Carthusian monks, it has an imposing sand-colored stone exterior, and a lavish baroque monastery church.
6. Plaza Bib-Rambla – The large, popular Plaza has restaurants, flower stalls and a central fountain with statues of giants. This square was the scene of jousting, bullfights and Inquisition burnings.
7. Sacromonte – Granada`s gypsy quarter and is famous for its flamenco venues. The caves are grouped around ravines, forming what amounts to streets. It is good places to see zambra, a flamenco variation with a more Oriental feel in which the
singer also dances. 2 popular zambra venues are Zambra Cueva del Rocio and María la Canastera.
Granada – Marbella (179 kms / 2 hours):

1. The Barrio de Santa Cruz where you will find the Seville Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazar, Casa de Pilatos , Plazas del Pan &, Salvador, Casa de la Memoria, Flamenco Museum and the Archivo General de las Indias among others.
2. The Macarena district with the Basilica de Macarena, Basilica del Gran Poder, Alameda de Hercules, Museo de Bellas Artes.
3. The Plaza de España where you will find the Parque de Maria Luisa, Teatro Lope de Vega, Museo Arqueologico, Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares, Pabellon Domecq and Pabellon Real and the Old Tobacco Factory
4.In the Arenal district, you can visit the Torre de Oro and the Waterfront,Old Royal Shipyards and the Hospital de la Caridad.
5. Across the river in Triana, you will find the Gypsy Quarter (be sure to watch a Flamenco Show), and enjoy food and drinks at the Calle Betis.
Seville – Madrid (530kms / 5 hours):
We recommend at least 2 nights, but if you have the time, 3 would be better!
Must See’s in Madrid
1. The Royal Palace (The largest royal palace in Western Europe)
2. The Puerta del Sol (Most central and best known square)
3. The Plaza Mayor (wonderful enclosed square, perfect for people watching)
4. Puerta de Alcalá (A Madrid icon, this old city gate even has a song dedicated to it!)
5 .Plaza de Oriente (Beautiful square located in front of the Royal Palace)
6. The Retiro (Enjoy the wide open spaces, rose-garden, Crystal Palace, boating lake, and the wonderful street theatre at the Retiro Park)
7. The Rastro (Madrid`s weekly flea market allows you to buy almost anything under the sun!)
